Terms of service
The rules of the service: accounts, conduct, scoring, resolution, moderation, and endings.
Version 2.0, effective 18 September 2026.
1. What Predictly is
Predictly is a forecasting game published by Garg Capital Group LLC ("we", "us"). You state a probability on a question, or take a YES or NO position in a small simulated market, and after the question resolves you find out how good your number was. Everything is scored in points.
Points are free, valueless counters used to score forecasting. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, exchanged, or converted into money or anything else. There is no in-app purchase, no store product, and no way to move points between accounts. Nothing you do here can earn you anything of value, and nothing you do here can cost you anything of value. Predictly is a game of judgement and not a financial product.
By using the service you agree to these terms, to the end-user licence agreement, and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old. You confirm that when you create your account and every time you accept a new version of these terms. We do not collect your date of birth. If we learn an account belongs to someone younger, we close it.
You may hold one account, and it is yours alone. You sign in with your email address or username and a password, or with a single-use link emailed to you. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
You must give us an email address you can read, choose a username, and accept these documents and the statement that points have no value. Until you have, your account can read the service but cannot take part in it.
3. What you may not post
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the account that posted it may be suspended or closed without warning.
No harassment or bullying of anyone. No hate speech or content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age. No sexually explicit content. No violence, threats, or content that glorifies harm. No content that encourages suicide or self-harm. No illegal content, and nothing that promotes illegal acts. No spam.
Questions may not concern the death or injury of a named private individual, and may not involve the private information of anyone, or anything about a minor. No question may require a payment or an award of value to resolve — there are none.
Usernames, display names and circle names may not imitate staff, brands, other members, or anything presented as official, including by using lookalike characters.
We filter posts, questions and names for objectionable language before they are saved, and a post the filter refuses is never shown to anyone. The filter is a first line, not the only one: report anything it misses.
4. Reporting and blocking
Every comment, question, circle and member profile has a Report action. A report goes to our moderators — and, for content inside a circle, that circle's moderators — with the reason you chose. We review every report within 24 hours. When content breaks these terms we remove it, and we suspend or close the account that posted it.
You can block any member from their comments or their profile. A block hides their posts and questions from you straight away, everywhere in the app. They are not told. You can unblock them at any time from Settings.
You can also write to contact@predictly.caffaai.com about anything you see.
5. Contexts, seasons and rankings
Activity is scored in a context: Public, or one circle. Each context has its own point balances, its own seasons, and its own leaderboards, and they are never combined.
Each season gives every participant the same starting balance. After a season ends there is a 14-day grace period for outstanding resolutions; anything still unresolved when it ends is voided.
Accuracy and trading are ranked separately. An official rank needs at least five resolved participations in that context; below that you are shown as provisional.
6. Questions and resolution
Whoever writes a question is responsible for resolving it, on time, from the source their criteria named. Criteria cannot be edited once someone has taken part — you may add a visible clarification, but the terms people forecast against do not move.
A proposed outcome opens a dispute window, usually 24 hours, during which a participant may dispute it with reasons. A moderator reviews the dispute, and never one on a question they proposed or took part in. Some circle questions instead resolve by a vote of eligible members.
A finalized resolution can be corrected. A correction reverses the earlier settlement through new compensating ledger entries, and both versions stay on the record. A voided question refunds remaining cost basis.
If you create or resolve a question and also hold a position in its market, that position is shown on the question and beside every comment you write. It cannot be hidden.
7. Markets, quotes and settlement
A trading question is an automated market maker. The price is an implied probability, not a promise. A correct share settles at 100 points and an incorrect one at zero.
Before you commit you get a quote from the server — shares, cost, average price, the price after your trade, and the most the position can lose. A quote is short-lived and used once. If the market moves past your tolerance the quote is refused and you are shown the new terms; we never execute terms you did not confirm.
Balances, prices, and settlements are computed on the server, and only the server's figures count.
8. Circles
A circle is a community with its own questions, points, seasons and leaderboards. Its owner controls its settings, visibility and join policy; its moderators handle its questions, members, invites and reports. A circle role grants nothing outside that circle.
Circle owners and moderators must enforce these terms in their circle. We moderate every circle too, and may remove content or members from any circle.
If a circle's owner deletes their account, ownership passes to the circle's longest-standing moderator, or if it has none its longest-standing member. A circle with no other members is archived, and its open questions are voided and refunded.
9. Moderation, suspension and appeals
Platform moderators work the report and dispute queues, hide content, and suspend accounts. Every moderation and administration action is written to an append-only audit record with who did it, what changed, and when. Nobody can alter a balance, position, score or ranking by hand.
A suspended account keeps its history but cannot take part. If you think a decision was wrong, write to contact@predictly.caffaai.com and a different reviewer will look at it.
10. The AI coach
The coach is optional and off until you turn it on. When it is on, it writes you a private review after a question you took part in resolves, reading only your own records for that one question plus that question's public price and consensus history.
The coach reviews how you decided. It does not predict, trade, score, or rank, and it changes nothing about your balance or standing. It is not advice of any kind.
10a. AI assistants you connect
You can connect an AI assistant — such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor — to your account at /connect. You choose what it may do on the approval screen: read, forecast, trade, or write questions and comments. Anything it does through that connection is done as you, under these terms, and meets exactly the same rules and limits as the apps.
You can see and disconnect every connected assistant in Settings; disconnecting stops it at once. The assistant is run by its own provider under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours.
11. Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove features, and switch trading, the coach, comments, or circle discovery off for everyone or for one context. We do not promise uninterrupted service.
We may change these terms. The version is shown at the top of this document, and the version you accepted is recorded against your account with the date. When the documents change in substance, the apps ask you to accept the new version before you can take part again; if you do not accept, you can still export your data and delete your account.
12. Ending it
You may delete your account at any time, from Settings in either app or as described at /delete-account on our website. Deletion runs 30 days after you ask, and you can cancel it until then. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is erased and what remains.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service or other members, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we will say why.
13. Disclaimers, liability, and law
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100). Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or consumer rights that cannot be waived.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you post or from your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes go to the state and federal courts in San Francisco County, California, except that a consumer living elsewhere keeps any right to sue where they live. Before bringing a claim, please write to contact@predictly.caffaai.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, the licence agreement and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Predictly.
